"ALICE'S GENERAL STORE"

In the town of Little York, N J, where I grew up the popular hangout for young kids was the porch at Alice's store.
Penny candy, 25cent soda, and the town post office was inside the store.
Alice served as store keeper, postmaster, and she was concidered the one person in town who knew everything that was new, old and going on. The studebaker pickup in front was owned by her husband. Circa- 1960s.
